Excerpt
"You mean everything to me. I can't lose you." he breathes against my neck.
"But you're a vampire. Don't you want to hurt me?"
He trails his nose against my jaw, "Never. I would never hurt you, even if it is in my nature to do so."
My skin prickles. "I trust you."
"Good," he growls against my mouth. "Because you're mine."

About this book
The Blood Bond Series is unlike any other vampire book you've read before. It's jam packed full of mystery, suspense and a perfect blend of romance and erotica. Once you enter this new paranormal world, you'll be hungry for more and will never want to leave.

Unbound Reverie Description
Caroline Riley's perfectly stable life with her live-in fiancé is suddenly turned upside down when vampires raid her small town. Killing hundreds of innocent humans in their wake, vampires devastate her hometown in search for one human Caroline.

Amidst the chaos, there is one vampire that wants her for more than just her blood. Henry watches her from the shadows and protects her from the others. He keeps a safe distance so that he doesn't harm her, until he can't stay away anymore and forcibly thrusts himself into her world, changing both of their lives forever.

From the moment she saw him, Caroline is intoxicated by Henry's presence. She craves and desires him in ways she never imagined, despite his mysteriousness. She knows that Henry has secrets, but she is inexplicably drawn to him and just can't stay away.

The clock is ticking for Caroline to make a choice as she is forced to choose between Henry and her fiancé of ten years. Will she risk it all to be with Henry? And if she does, will she survive?

I love vampire stories very much and absolutely hate when they aren't done well. This story is definitely done well although I do have issues with some things. Caroline has a best friend Nora who spends her time on the cell phone or screaming. She doesn't listen but pouts and stomps away with her phone. Most of the interactions between these two have Nora just screaming or shouting. Who puts up with a friend like this? She seriously is a selfish mess....there's a back story that we're not told about and it's frustrating. Please tell me how you can drive for hours and not get around to discussing this vampire stuff? A good start even though it drags on.....plus Caroline knows that she's being hunted down by Roderick and she doesn't bother to tell Henry when she sees him in the convenience store? Please....don't insult our intelligence by having her act like those stupid teens in slasher films.

Blood Bonds Unbound Reverie edition by Chantelle Azach Angela Kolwyck Christi Humbertson Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

I found this book to be thrilling. I normally don't read books with any suggestive materials but this was awesome. I think it was too short and I will have to get the next. I didn't find the suggestive parts too overwhelming like I do in most books. I wrote a book myself and though there were some minor spelling errors this book was good. As a fellow author, soon to be that is I give this book all my praise.
I got this book in return of my honest opinion. I got quickly dragged into the book, wanting to know more. The intensity between the characters is well written, though they get to be predictable, and thus a little annoying. I like to try to figure out whats going on, and if it gets to easy I get bored. They talk about trust and how important it is to them, though they don't trust each other to some basic information, witch leads them to a couple of bad situations. There are still several questions that I would like to get an answer to, like Henry's family history and members. Is James getting his act together? Will Nora give them the benefit of doubt? Will Caroline stop chastise herself for everyone else's choice? Will Henry start to trust Caroline? Why is Caroline special? And about hundred questions more. I will like to know!
A few problems but overall I'm looking forward to reading the next book.

Caroline Riley wakes up one day feeling lost and adrift from her own life. She doesn't know why until very strange things start happening in her town, and when the reason is made known, she's thrown into the path of a tornado that she may not come out of alive.

The biggest problem that I had with this book was that the copy I was given to read was full of typos, grammatical errors, punctuation errors, and run on sentences. We didn't even get to the main plotline until almost halfway through the book. I think it could do with some streamlining regarding this.

The main character annoyed me because she kept admitting what a coward she was and she basically let people walk all over her. Her best friend was totally unlikable due to her sarcastic and snotty attitude, so she didn't help move the story along at all. The plotline involved insta-love, which is always a problem for me, and there was never an explanation for why this was.

On the plus side, there were some interesting twists that the story took in light of what was causing all the problems in Caroline's home town. Yes, I was annoyed because she kept making really terrible decisions, and would have liked her to be a stronger person, but I think if the next book is well edited, these twists could keep me interested.

In summary, I had a lot of problems with the storyline, but nothing that couldn't be fixed with some good editing. I look forward to reading the next book in the series to see if these issues are addressed.

I loved the story. I just felt that the MC's incessant inner turmoil over how her and the new man her life now, are so in love and connected so fast. Yea, it's instant love but half the book was about just that alone. It frustrated me. However, once you get past that, there is a story to be told. And the Author has definitely found her voice. Her style is elegant. It was a breeze to read and I did enjoy it. This is a vampire romance story, and to future readers; Beware, this is a cliffhanger. It will leave you wanting more. Caroline, our MC, wakes up one morning feeling detached from her life. She has a fiancé, friends, a great job...everything is going well until one instant it all changes. And it's unexplained, even unexplored. What I couldn't wrap my head around was that fact that you see/read it happen, you just don't ever get a why, which would've made this story complete. As weeks go by, she's still feeling detached from everything that once was. She then meets her mysterious stranger, who made himself known that very night things changed. We see feelings are instant between the two of them, as well as their connection. But they've got a problem, Caroline has got to say goodbye to her old life while Henry, her new man, must keep her safe. Of course, Henry is a vampire. And I'm going to go out here on a limb and say these vampires are your typical vampire, not around during the day, drink blood-That sort of thing. I do know that there are 'hybrids', which is yet to be explained. I can only guess at what that means. While they've connected, things in Caroline's town have definitely taken a turn for the worst. Vampires are indeed real & causing havoc. But Henry's different. He still retains his humanity. He wants nothing more than to protect what's his, Caroline. Apparently, she's not safe in her town. And with a certain vampire out for revenge, it gets ugly. So the question then becomes 'Can he keep her safe?' I'm hoping book two will answer a lot of those questions I have and have things explained so I can have some sort of balance. As of right now, it's just a big question mark, that I'd love solved. Yes, it's a different vampire romance story. Yes, it captured my attention, and I would definitely recommend this to one who loves vampires. Just be careful, you're going to come out more curious than when you started.
